Montoro & Associates Editorial Services was founded on the principle that we must exceed customer expectations on every engagement.
We abide by this principle every day. Our company is a leading provider of translation services based in the New York metropolitan area. We are a 100% minority-owned company composed of individuals from different Latin American, European, and Asian countries with a diverse wealth of professional and linguistic experience.
We have been servicing large corporate clients, small-and-medium size businesses, federal and state government agencies, and non-profit organizations for over six years. Our clients benefit from more than 20 years of combined experience in the translation and language services field.
One of the things that differentiates Montoro & Associates from many other companies is that when committing to an assignment we do more than just translate verbatim. We identify the target audience and make sure we understand the message that our clients want to convey.
Our translators and editors are native speakers who hold degrees obtained in their country of origin. They are able to translate accurately while making sure the translation makes sense in the target language.
Our translators come from a variety of different countries and therefore are aware of linguistic sensitivities and dialects that exist in every language.
All translations are reviewed, edited and proofread by a senior editor experienced in the particular subject matter.

Individualized support is our way of showing our commitment to your needs. Led by a dedicated contract manager, our team of talented professionals is assembled with your project requirements in mind.
When partnering with us you will receive:
- Regularly scheduled progress reports.
- Workflow recommendations to achieve efficiency.
- On site meetings, if desired.
To ensure that deadlines are met:
- We will assign a contract/project manager who will be available 24 hours a day x 7 days a week and will be responsible for all assignments pertaining to this contract.
- We will immediately respond to any request for changes or modifications which will be done at no additional cost.
Montoro & Associates’ team consists of highly talented, educated, and creative language experts with an average of over 20 years of experience in editorial and translation services.
All Montoro translators are native speakers and are fluent in English as well. When assigning a translator(s) to a particular project, special emphasis is given to the translators’ knowledge of the target language as well as the source language to ensure that the translations are logically and technically correct.
Montoro & Associates uses translators from private industries, consultants, sub-contractors and universities. To maintain the level of quality which is our standard, we only hire translators and editors with:
- Degrees from universities or technical schools.
- Minimum of five years experience in translation.
To ensure that our translators and sub-contractors are up to par with our company standards and principles:
- Each translator is tested and evaluated on their level and subject of expertise.
- We rigorously screen and check references from past projects.
- Many of them are ATA certified.
